Parade Day

Featuring a unique mix of instruments on 11 diverse originals and the Randy Newman gem “Dayton, Ohio, 1903,” Parade Day represents a modern day love letter to the early jazz, blues and folk music that were the primary musical influences of band founders Rob Lutes and Michael Emenau.

The six-piece lineup includes Oscar nominated guitarist/composer Ben Charest (Les Triplettes de Belleville), violinist Josh Zubot (Patrick Watson), bassist Sage Reynolds (Jordan Officer, Tomas Hellman), trumpeter Ivanhoe Jolicoeur (les Cowboys Fringantes), noted vibraphonist/percussionist Michael Emenau and myself on vocals and acoustic fingerstyle guitar.

"...a truly great evening...energy, intricacy, texture, nuance, expressiveness, and power, but all with great subtlety. Suffice to say, a great show."
- Thom Meredith, Sainte-Anne Blues Cafe

" ... une vraie belle soirée ... de l'énergie, de la complexité , de la texture , de la nuance , l'expressivité , et de la force, mais le tout avec une grande subtilité. Tout cela pour dire, un grand spectacle . "
- Thom Meredith, Sainte-Anne Blues Cafe

‟An absolutely charming mix of blues, jazz and folk.” - Metro Montreal
